Protocol Education are currently looking for a Caring and Passionate Teaching Assistant to work within an Alternative Provision. Working alongside Teachers and other staff member support children with SEMH needs. The post holder will be working on a one-to-one basis helping to support children, these children are at risk of needing alternative support so need some additional support to engage them back into learning

This role is open to youth workers and teaching assistants who have a genuine passion to work with children with SEMH.

Working hours will be from 8.15-3.45pm 

Day rate ranging from £77- £110 DOE

Applicants will have:

  • GCSE in Maths and English C or above.
  • Experience of working with children with SEMH 
  • CV providing education/employment history including any gaps from working.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have the legal right to work in the UK.
