We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Lewisham that’s on the lookout for a brilliant Teaching Assistant to join their team. You’ll be that trusted, steady presence—supporting students who need a bit of extra help to thrive in the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students across a range of subjects (don’t worry, no need to be an expert in everything!)
- Providing 1:1 and small group support, especially in core subjects like English and Maths
- Helping students stay focused, organised, and confident throughout their day
- Being part of a friendly, inclusive school community that values every member of staff
What we’re looking for:
- Some experience supporting young people—this could be in schools, youth work, or other settings
- A patient, encouraging approach (you’re the calm in the corridor chaos!)
- Someone who can build positive relationships and knows how to cheer students on, even on the tough days

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
