About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support schools across Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a real impact in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including those with SEND

  • Assist the class teacher with daily activities and classroom management

  • Help prepare learning materials and provide support during lessons

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people (in school or similar settings)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

  • Available full-time during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
