Protocol Education partners with specialist schools supporting children and young people with severe learning difficulties and autism.
Role Overview:

Support pupils with SEND, complex learning difficulties, and autism

Work alongside teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning plans
-
Provide 1:1 or group support as needed
-
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of educational and behavioural plans
-
Support pupils during lessons and activities to enhance their learning experience

Help with personal care and wellbeing needs as appropriate
-
Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour
-
Work collaboratively within the school team to support individual pupil goals
-
Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with pupils, families, and staff
Candidate Requirements:
-
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND preferred
-
Patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
-
Commitment to long-term placements
