Protocol education is currnelty recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Work with pupils who require additional support, either 1:1 or in small groups
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils to support their social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred)
  • Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Has a calm, patient, and flexible approach
  • Can work well as part of a team and show initiative when needed
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
