Protocol education is currnelty recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with pupils who require additional support, either 1:1 or in small groups
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Foster positive relationships with pupils to support their social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred)
- Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Has a calm, patient, and flexible approach
- Can work well as part of a team and show initiative when needed
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
This role would suit someone considering a future career in teaching, psychology, or SEN support.
