Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – North West London

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE, paid weekly)

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in North West London looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support their Key Stage 1 classes from September.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-organised, friendly team and support pupils in Years 1 and 2 with their learning, routines, and development. If you’re enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy working with young learners—you’ll feel right at home in this role.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities

  • Working with small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning

  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour

  • Helping prepare classroom materials and keep learning spaces organised

  • Supporting pupils with phonics, early reading, and numeracy

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in a primary or Key Stage 1 setting

  • Brings a calm, proactive, and caring attitude

  • Can follow instruction and take initiative

  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills

  • (Bonus) Holds a Level 2 or 3 TA or Childcare qualification
