Nursery Teaching Assistant – Camden

Location: Camden, London
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Start date: September 2025
Pay: £85–£95 per day (PAYE, weekly)

Got a knack for calming chaos? Love the smell of poster paint and the sound of giggles during circle time? We’re looking for a nursery TA who’s ready to bring patience, play, and plenty of cuddles to a lovely primary school in Camden.

This school’s got a real community vibe—friendly staff, a great Early Years team, and leadership who actually get the value of support staff. They’re on the lookout for someone calm, confident, and brilliant at building trust with little learners.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting 3–4 year olds with everything from phonics to playtime

  • Helping create a safe, structured, and happy environment

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SEN staff

  • Keeping things running smoothly (even when glitter is involved)

About you:

  • You’ve worked with EYFS-aged children before (nursery, preschool or Reception)

  • You know how to comfort a wobbly toddler and celebrate the tiniest wins

  • You’re reliable, positive, and full of gentle energy

  • Experience with SEND is a big plus

Why this role?

  • Long-term position at a nurturing school

  • A chance to really connect with one class and watch them grow

  • Ongoing training and support from Protocol (including FREE Thrive training—ask us about it!)

Protocol Perks:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE—no umbrella faff

  • FREE access to our CPD Academy

  • Friendly, personal support from your dedicated consultant

  • Streamlined onboarding and local bookings

  • Referral scheme—bring a friend, earn a bonus!
