Early Years Teaching Assistant – Camden

We’re working with a lovely primary school in Camden that’s looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant from September. This is a full-time role supporting pupils in Nursery and Reception, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

What the role includes:

  • Supporting children aged 3–5 with learning, play, and routines

  • Helping to create a calm, engaging, and safe classroom environment

  • Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team

  • Supporting children with additional needs, where required

  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and early communication skills

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a nursery, EYFS or primary setting

  • A warm, patient, and proactive approach

  • Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Early Years (ideal but not essential)

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • A genuine interest in early childhood development
