A lovely, close-knit primary school in the borough of Camden is on the lookout for a warm and proactive KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September. If you’ve got a knack for making phonics fun, supporting growing minds, and adding calm to a busy classroom—we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils across Year 1 or Year 2 with learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

Working 1:1 or in small groups to help build confidence and understanding

Supporting children with mild SEND needs as part of inclusive provision

Collaborating with the class teacher to create a caring, consistent environment
What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting children in a KS1 classroom

A patient, encouraging and flexible approach to learning support

Good understanding of phonics and early literacy strategies

A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply)
