A lovely, close-knit primary school in the borough of Camden is on the lookout for a warm and proactive KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September. If you’ve got a knack for making phonics fun, supporting growing minds, and adding calm to a busy classroom—we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils across Year 1 or Year 2 with learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help build confidence and understanding

  • Supporting children with mild SEND needs as part of inclusive provision

  • Collaborating with the class teacher to create a caring, consistent environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children in a KS1 classroom

  • A patient, encouraging and flexible approach to learning support

  • Good understanding of phonics and early literacy strategies

  • A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply)

  • Thrive trained? Even better! If not, we offer free access to Thrive training
