Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Cover – Banstead
Location: Banstead, Surrey
Pay: £90 – £95 per day (PAYE – no umbrella deductions)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Cover

A welcoming primary school in Banstead is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves supporting children’s learning and wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
The Role – Teaching Assistant
As a TA, you will:
- Provide classroom support across KS1 and/or KS2
- Work with individual pupils or small groups to support progress
- Assist children with mild SEN needs so they can access learning fully
- Support the class teacher with planning, resources, and behaviour management
- Play a key role in the wider school community

- Previous experience working with children in a school setting (paid or voluntary)
