About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across secondary schools in Croydon. The role involves working closely with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small group basis

Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
-
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere

Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) where required
-
Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential
Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (desirable)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff

An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
