Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and vibrant school in Lambeth to recruit a Teaching Assistant for the 2025/26 academic year. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, support workers, or anyone with a passion for helping children thrive.


About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting students and teachers in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the teacher in preparing and delivering lessons

  • Supporting students with classwork, including literacy and numeracy

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need additional help

  • Promoting positive behaviour and a calm learning environment

  • Helping with classroom organisation and resources


We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous experience working with children or young people (in a school, youth, or care setting)

  • Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to pupil development

  • Has good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team

  • Holds a current DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
