Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education are working closely with a school for a Teaching Assistant to become a vital part of their support team. This role will suit someone who is looking to gain experience within different education settings and with children of different ages on a schedule that fits around them.
The Role;
• To support and manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work, creating a positive learning environment
• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way whilst ensuring that safeguarding procedures are always adhered to
• Working 1:1 and in small intervention groups both inside and outside of the classroom
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
The Candidate;
• Someone who truly cares for the education of children and thrives in an environment working with likeminded individuals.
• Somebody with desire to go the extra mile for their students and truly influence their futures.
• A character who truly makes a difference in the classroom and enjoys working with young people.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and reading comprehension
• Track record of positively impacting the lives of children or adults, please note - this can be in any field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
