Job Duties:
- Support students with diverse needs
- Assist in implementing individual education plan targets
- Utilise interventions and specialised equipment for student development
- Provide emotional support and guidance
- Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification or HLTA qualification
- Degree in a relevant field
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Knowledge of Makaton and other communication strategies
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Patience and empathy in supporting students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in specific interventions such as music therapy or sensory occupational therapy
