Job Role:

As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students achieve their full potential. Your main responsibilities will include:

Classroom Support- Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, ensuring each student receives personalized attention.

Individualized Support- Providing one-on-one support to students with specific learning needs, nurturing their academic growth.

Behavioural Management- Implementing positive behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and conducive learning atmosphere.

Resource Preparation- Preparing learning materials and resources to enhance classroom activities.

Monitoring Progress- Assisting with student assessments and recording their progress to track their development.

Inclusive Learning- Promoting an inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Passion for Education- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

Relevant Experience- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

Adaptability- The ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a classroom environment and collaborate effectively with the teaching staff.

Positive Attitude- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a love of learning in students.

Safeguarding Awareness- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Qualifications:

While specific qualifications are not mandatory, any relevant teaching assistant certifications are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
