You may be booked to provide PPA cover, so a flexible and adaptable approach is essential. While confidence in covering all year groups from Reception to Year 6 is ideal, it’s not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who want to manage their own schedule—whether you’re available a few days a week or seeking a consistent, full-time role.

About The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality pre-prepared lessons to primary students in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Contribute to the schools ethos of reaching to the highest standards in everything we do.
  • Maintain classroom order and manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Ensure all learning objectives are met and feedback is recorded.
  • Work with other teachers and school staff to create a cohesive educational experience.

About You:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working within a primary teaching environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • A good understanding of the Primary school curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
