A progressive and inclusive Church of England secondary school in Barnet is seeking occasional Supply Teachers to join its pool of trusted educators, providing high-quality classroom cover across all key stages when regular teaching staff are absent.
This is a flexible, casual role with assignments available throughout the academic year based on cover needs. Ideal for experienced secondary teachers looking to work on an ad-hoc basis in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver prepared lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers

Uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with the school’s policies

Adapt quickly to different subject areas and age groups

Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a smooth learning experience for students
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Flexibility to cover various subjects across Key Stages 3–5

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
