Protocol Education are working alongside Secondary and SEND schools throughout Bristol and North Somerset looking to appoint Sport Graduates or people from sport backgrounds to take their skills and experience into an educational setting.


Role: Various roles available including learning support and cover supervisors depending on experience, qualifications and skills.

Hours: Hours are typically 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday. We have roles available on a full and part time basis.

You will have developed the background knowledge and skills during your studies and experience to lead peers in their learning journey, as well as having a passion for the subject. Physical Education is a crucial part of the curriculum that can often be undedrrated, so having your skills and passion radiate during lessons will have a profound effect in nurturing the young people you are working with.


Roles Available:

-  Class Teacher – Depending on qualifications (QTS needed)

-  Sports Coach

-  Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher – (No qualifications needed, only relevant experience working with young people such as coaching)

-  Learning Mentor

-  1:1 Mentor


Qualifications and Experience: Desirable but not required

-  Any previous teaching/youth work experience or any relevant experience working with young people

-  Any relevant qualifications

  • Teaching
  • Safeguarding
  • First Aid
  • Youth work

-  Understanding of the National Curriculum
