Sports Coach – Specialist SEND/SEMH Support
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay: £90–£100 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
A specialist school in Wolverhampton is urgently seeking a Sports Coach to support students with SEND and SEMH needs. This role is available to start immediately.
The Role

Lead and support PE sessions that build confidence, resilience, and teamwork

Use sport to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning

Work alongside teachers and therapists to create a safe, structured environment
Requirements
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH needs
-
A calm, patient, and professional approach
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
-
A genuine passion for supporting young people through sport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
