Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant Level 1

Skills:

Experience working with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs in the classroom.
  • Assisting the teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.
  • Supporting students with their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Required Qualifications:

Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or any other related fields.

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience and empathy when working with students.

Ability to implement individual education plans and behaviour management strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in special educational needs

First aid training

Enhanced DBS (you can spply for one through us at a cost of £38)

Working Conditions:

Work in a classroom setting within a school.

Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 15:30.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
