Are you a dedicated, adaptable educator with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? Protocol Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-resourced and welcoming SEND primary school in Chingford, who are seeking a full-time SEND Teacher to join their committed team from September 2025.

In this rewarding role, you will work with small classes of pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that help every pupil thrive, while contributing to a nurturing and structured school environment.

This is a full-time position for the full academic year, and the school welcomes early applications, with trial days scheduled soon.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs

  • Foster a calm, consistent and supportive classroom environment

  • Work closely with support staff and therapists to implement personalised strategies

  • Track and celebrate pupil progress, adapting approaches where needed

  • Contribute to planning, review meetings and whole-school initiatives

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has previous experience teaching in SEND or inclusive primary settings

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Is resilient, patient and adaptable to the changing needs of learners

  • Is confident planning and delivering lessons across a broad primary curriculum

  • Can commit full-time from September 2025 through to the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
