About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bradford. This role is all about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), helping them feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn.
You’ll be the calm, steady presence in the classroom—working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to make sure every child gets the support they need to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN, including autism and ADHD
- Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them
- Supporting with routines, emotional regulation, and behaviour
- Creating a safe, nurturing space where every child can shine
- Working as part of a collaborative and supportive school team
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN needs
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Strong communication skills and a knack for building trust
- Thrive training (or willingness to complete it—we’ll provide this free!)
