Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We’re working with a brilliant specialist school in South Shields that provides a safe, supportive learning environment for pupils with a wide range of needs. They’re after a SEND Teaching Assistant who’s not fazed by a challenge, and who knows how powerful consistent, caring support can be.

About the role:

  • Strong communication, both verbal and non-verbal

  • Encouraging independence and confidence in every learner

  • A consistent, kind approach to behaviour and wellbeing

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience in a SEND setting (formal or informal)

  • A calm, proactive and positive communicator

  • Someone who genuinely believes every child can succeed

What you’ll get from Protocol Education:

  • Weekly PAYE pay-no umbrella complications

  • Free access to Thrive and de-escalation training
