We’re on the lookout for a brilliant Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely schools in Telford. If you’ve got experience supporting children with additional needs, patience, resilience and adaptability, you’re just what we’re looking for!


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping children with SEND learn in a safe, inclusive classroom
  • Supporting teachers with personalised learning plans and classroom activities
  • Creating a calm, positive space where all pupils feel seen and supported
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to deliver the best possible outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with additional needs (in or out of school)
  • A kind, proactive approach and top-notch communication skills
  • Lots of empathy, resilience and a ‘let’s go’ attitude
  • Any relevant qualifications are a bonus, but heart and skill go a long way

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
