Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bromley starting in September. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with special educational needs and making a lasting impact on their development.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and other complex needs

Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

Assist with personal care and mobility where necessary

Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support

Use communication tools such as Makaton, PECS, or visual timetables (training can be provided)
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEND, either professionally or personally
-
A calm, resilient, and flexible approach
-
Strong teamwork and communication skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 are beneficial but not essential
