A Primary School in Newbiggin Hall’s brand new ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) is on the lookout for a calm, kind, and confident SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, mostly autism and communication differences, and helping them thrive both in class and around school.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups with tailored learning
- Helping pupils feel safe, understood, and confident
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents
- Bringing structure, fun, and calm to the classroom
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- A warm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and a sense of humour (essential!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
