SEND Teaching Assistant – Superheroes Wanted (No Cape Required)
Some heroes wear capes. Others carry visual timetables and an endless supply of patience.
If you’re the calm in the classroom storm, the champion of small wins, and the person who can turn a tricky morning into a triumphant afternoon, we want you on our team.
The Mission:
- Support amazing young people with additional needs (think autism, ADHD, social and emotional needs).
- Build trust, boost confidence, and help students smash their personal goals—big or small.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to make learning feel possible, positive, and sometimes even fun.
- Team up with teachers, therapists, and other everyday legends to create safe, structured, and engaging classrooms.
Your Superpowers:
- Patience, resilience, and a steady sense of humour.
- Experience supporting children or young people (in schools, clubs, care, or community projects).
- A passion for helping every child feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
- Thrive training? Even better! (If not, we can sort that for free.)
The Perks:
- Long-term, full-time roles that actually value TAs.
- Weekly PAYE pay (no dodgy umbrella surprises).
- Free Thrive training and CPD courses to power up your skills.
- A friendly Protocol Education consultant who’s always got your back.
Why This Rocks:
You’re not ‘just’ a Teaching Assistant. You’re the reason someone feels safe enough to walk through that classroom door. You’re the high-five at the end of a tough day. You’re the difference.
