The Role:
We invite healthcare and care sector professionals interested in moving into education to join our team as Teaching Assistants or SEND Support Assistants. Your healthcare skills—such as manual handling, medication administration, personal care, and holistic support—make you an excellent fit for working with children who have additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support to pupils with SEND in classroom and care settings

Assist teachers and therapists in delivering tailored learning and care plans

Support students with personal care, mobility, feeding, and health-related tasks (training provided)

Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:

Healthcare professionals with experience in social care, nursing, HCAs, or related roles

Teaching Assistants or Graduate TAs with a background or personal experience in SEND

Candidates with performing arts backgrounds interested in SEND education

Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach

Willingness to learn and adapt to educational settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
