A specialist setting in Chesterfield is looking for a compassionate and confident Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs—including autism, sensory processing differences, and physical or medical needs. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to make a real impact, this could be the perfect next step.
What your day might look like:

Supporting individual pupils or small groups in class

Helping deliver tailored learning based on EHCPs
-
Providing personal care and mobility support where needed

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and external specialists
-
Creating a safe, supportive space where pupils can thrive
What we’re looking for:

Solid experience working with children with complex SEN
-
A calm, nurturing approach and a whole lot of patience
-
Strong team spirit and clear communication skills
-
Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive mindset
-
Bonus points for relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, Team Teach)
