A specialist setting in Chesterfield is looking for a compassionate and confident Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs—including autism, sensory processing differences, and physical or medical needs. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to make a real impact, this could be the perfect next step.

What your day might look like:

  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups in class

  • Helping deliver tailored learning based on EHCPs

  • Providing personal care and mobility support where needed

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and external specialists

  • Creating a safe, supportive space where pupils can thrive

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid experience working with children with complex SEN

  • A calm, nurturing approach and a whole lot of patience

  • Strong team spirit and clear communication skills

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive mindset

  • Bonus points for relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, Team Teach)
