We’re working with a brilliant SEND school in Gateshead looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate SEND Teacher to join their team from September. The school supports children with a range of additional needs, and they’re looking for someone calm, creative, and committed to helping every pupil thrive.

Your role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families

  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning space

  • Helping pupils develop confidence and independence, both in and out of the classroom

What you’ll need:

  • QTS or QTLS (SEND experience strongly preferred)

  • A patient, flexible approach

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for SEND education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
