Teaching in SEND isn’t for everyone. But for the right teacher, it’s everything.
We’re working with a brilliant specialist school in Newcastle that supports children with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs. They’re after a teacher who gets it—someone who knows that real progress happens when pupils feel safe, supported, and understood.
This isn’t about racing through the curriculum. It’s about helping young people find their confidence and joy in learning—on their terms, in their time. You’ll be backed by a strong team of LSAs, a knowledgeable SENCO, and leaders who actually listen.
