What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with a range of needs—Autism, MLD, speech and language needs, and SEMH

Working 1:1 or in small groups to help students access learning and feel included

Adapting activities to match EHCPs and learning levels (with support, don’t worry!)

Being a steady, encouraging presence throughout the day

Teaming up with teachers, therapists and other support staff for wraparound care
You’ll thrive in this role if you:

Have experience with children or young people with SEND (in schools, care, or community settings)

Stay calm when others can’t—and always see the person behind the behaviour
-
Understand the importance of safeguarding and inclusive education
-
Communicate clearly, work well with others, and learn fast
-
Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service—or are happy to apply for one
