We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in Sunderland supporting children and young people with autism. They’re looking for a patient, caring, and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.

Your role will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with autism and complex needs

Helping children access learning through tailored strategies and resources

Supporting social, emotional, and communication development

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (autism experience desirable)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
