Location: Easington, County Durham
Salary: £89–£108 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025

We’re partnering with a fantastic all-through special school in County Durham that supports children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs. They’re looking for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant who brings warmth, consistency, and care into every moment of the school day.

Your day-to-day:

Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to EHCP needs

Assisting with learning activities, personal care, and sensory regulation

Helping pupils build communication, emotional regulation, and confidence

Supporting teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans

You’ll need to bring:

Experience working with SEND (education, care, or voluntary settings welcome)

Confidence to support personal care and complex needs (full training provided)
