A fantastic specialist school is looking for a SEND Classroom Assistant to join their team full-time from September. You’ll be supporting pupils with autism and complex needs in a structured, supportive environment that really values its staff.
What the role involves:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support in and out of class
- Helping pupils manage emotions, build confidence, and access learning
- Working with a team of experienced staff including therapists and SENCO
- Supporting pupils with sensory regulation, communication, and daily routines
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with SEND, especially Autism, SEMH, or non-verbal communication
- Someone calm, patient, and consistent—children notice!
- A team player who’s open to learning and mucking in
- Thrive trained? Brilliant. If not, we’ll train you for free

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
