You're the trusted adult. The consistent voice. The person who just gets it.
We’re looking for an experienced 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to join a supportive SEND School, working with a pupil who needs routine, patience, and someone who knows how to build trust over time.

What you’ll be doing:
Providing tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with autism and sensory needs
Supporting with communication, behaviour and transitions throughout the day
Working closely with SENCOs, external specialists and parents
Helping the child access learning in a way that works for them
Using your experience to pre-empt challenges and celebrate wins (big and small)
You should have:
✅ A strong track record in SEND support, especially 1:1 roles
✅ Confidence with autism, speech & language needs, and EHCPs
✅ A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach
Thrive trained? Amazing.
If not, we’ll fund it through our free CPD Academy—it’s brilliant for this kind of role and a big plus for schools.
