Salary: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly via PAYE (no umbrella)


About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs within our education support business unit. You will play a vital role in fostering inclusive learning environments and helping children reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Adapt and prepare learning resources tailored to individual student needs

  • Support emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and social skills development

  • Contribute to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere


Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN in educational or care settings

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility to meet diverse learner needs

  • Valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply

  • Availability during school term times, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
