Protocol Education is working with a welcoming school in Shrewsbury seeking a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from the start of the new term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH, in a nurturing and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Help students access learning and stay engaged in lessons
  • Assist teachers with behaviour management and classroom routines
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and inclusion throughout the school day

  • Experience working with SEN pupils in education, care, or youth settings
  • Calm, resilient, and confident working with challenging behaviours
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
