Teaching Assistant – Autism Support
Eligibility: UK applicants only (this role does not offer sponsorship)
About the role
Join a dedicated and supportive team making a genuine difference in the lives of young people with autism and additional needs. At School, part of Options Autism, we create nurturing, structured environments where pupils can achieve far more than they ever thought possible.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting pupils’ learning journeys—both academically and socially. You’ll work alongside experienced teachers to prepare learning materials, deliver engaging classroom activities, and help each pupil reach their potential through personalised support.
Every day will be different: one moment you could be helping to run a structured classroom activity, the next you might be leading an outdoor learning experience. You’ll be there to support pupils’ emotional and physical needs, encouraging them to develop confidence, independence, and new skills.
