Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in a well-regarded secondary school. About The Role:

Support the academic, social, and personal development of SEN students in classes, small groups, or individually.

Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Provide one-on-one support for students with additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.

Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that supports learning and emotional well-being.

Attend to the physical and sensory needs of students with SEN, providing necessary assistance and accommodations.

Support the development of key skills such as communication, social interaction, and independence through tailored activities.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with SEN students, including those with autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.

Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and adaptability in responding to the unique needs of students.

Can work effectively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to provide comprehensive support.

Maintains a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages student engagement and well-being.

Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
