SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Woodford

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Support pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges

Work one-to-one or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions and learning support

Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised strategies and learning plans

Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Candidate Requirements:
-
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting, is desirable

A patient, caring, and proactive approach

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant certification) or experience in education/childcare are beneficial
This position is ideal for:
