We’re on the lookout for brilliant Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in North-West Bradford. It’s a setting full of heart, humour, and pupils with a range of needs (including Autism and complex learning profiles). Classes are small, the team is mighty, and yes—it’s easy to get to by public transport.
What you’ll be doing:
-
Supporting pupils in the classroom (mostly 6–9 per group) and helping create a safe, calm, and engaging environment.
-
Being a second pair of hands (and eyes!) to the classroom teacher.
-
Helping with activities, prep, and making sure everything’s ready to roll.
-
Growing your skills and confidence working in SEND settings.
You’ll fit in if:
-
You’re calm, patient, and ready to learn.
-
You’ve got a good sense of humour and a big heart.
-
You’re up for working closely with an amazing team—including behaviour support, pastoral leads, and SEN specialists.
-
You’ve got (or are happy to get) an enhanced DBS for Child & Adult Workforce on the Update Service.
Why you’ll love it here:
✅ Friendly, supportive staff who’ve got your back
✅ A chance to genuinely change lives—while learning loads yourself
✅ Hours that actually work for family life
✅ Free training (including our amazing Thrive course!)
✅ Weekly pay through PAYE—no umbrella faff
And let’s not forget the joy of helping a pupil crack a tricky task, try something new, or simply smile. That’s the stuff that sticks with you.
