SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Camden

Pay: £83–£95 per day (PAYE – no umbrella faff)

We’re looking for a brilliant SEN TA to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Camden. You’ll be working 1:1 with a pupil who needs consistency, kindness, and someone who gets it.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting a pupil with additional needs throughout the school day

Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external specialists

Helping build structure, routine, and confidence—for the pupil and yourself

Creating a safe, inclusive learning space where every child can shine
You’ll need:

Some experience supporting children with SEND (in or outside of school)

A calm, empathetic approach—firm but fair, patient but proactive

The ability to build strong, trusting relationships quickly

Bonus if you’ve got Team Teach or Thrive training (if not, we’ll help with that!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
