SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Camden

Location: Camden, London
Pay: £83–£95 per day (PAYE – no umbrella faff)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate

You’re not “just” a Teaching Assistant.
You’re the steady hand. The calm in the chaos. The quiet champion helping a child thrive when things get tricky.

We’re looking for a brilliant SEN TA to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Camden. You’ll be working 1:1 with a pupil who needs consistency, kindness, and someone who gets it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting a pupil with additional needs throughout the school day

  • Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external specialists

  • Helping build structure, routine, and confidence—for the pupil and yourself

  • Creating a safe, inclusive learning space where every child can shine

You’ll need:

  • Some experience supporting children with SEND (in or outside of school)

  • A calm, empathetic approach—firm but fair, patient but proactive

  • The ability to build strong, trusting relationships quickly

  • Bonus if you’ve got Team Teach or Thrive training (if not, we’ll help with that!)

What you’ll get from us:

  • Personal support from your local Protocol consultant (we’re human and helpful, promise)

  • Weekly PAYE pay—no umbrella company deductions

  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy, including Thrive training

  • Long-term roles at schools that genuinely value support staff
