About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in schools across Kingston upon Thames. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.)

  • Assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering tailored learning support

  • Help adapt classroom materials and strategies to meet individual needs

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to Work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
