Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)?
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive school in Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and be a vital part of their learning journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a range of special needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH)

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO

  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

  • Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment

  • Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals when needed


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school, care, or youth settings)

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Available full-time, Monday to Friday during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
