About the Role:
Protocol Education is currently recruiting a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school based in Bromley. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is looking to make a lasting impact in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH)

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

  • Encourage students' social, emotional, and educational development

  • Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals when required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in school or other settings)

  • Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Available full-time, Monday to Friday during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
