About the Role:
Protocol Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs in schools across Merton. This role involves working closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support, ensuring pupils can thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery

  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies

  • Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language, etc.)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to Work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
