A welcoming and nurturing specialist school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Your Role Will Include:

Supporting students with highly personalised learning programmes across sensory and functional curriculums

Assisting pupils with physical, sensory, and complex communication needs

Promoting confidence, communication, and independence in every interaction

Working alongside teachers, therapists, and medical teams to deliver holistic support

Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and joyful space where every child can flourish
Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD, complex needs, or in care roles

Calm, patient, and quick to adapt when plans change

Confident using or learning communication tools like Makaton, switches, or eye-gaze tech

A genuine team player who values inclusive, child-led education

Big heart, small ego, and always up for a challenge
Requirements:

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
