We’re working with an Ofsted-rated Outstanding primary school in South Woodford that’s on the lookout for a compassionate and confident SEN Teaching Assistant. You’ll be supporting a pupil with high needs on a 1:1 basis—making a genuine impact every single day.
If you’ve worked with children who are non-verbal, have mobility needs, or require personal care, this role could be your perfect fit. The school team is experienced, supportive, and ready to welcome someone who brings calm, consistency, and kindness to the classroom.
The role includes:

1:1 support for a pupil with complex SEN

Helping with mobility, communication, and personal care

Collaborating closely with the SENCO and class teacher

Creating a nurturing, structured learning space
You should have:

Previous experience in a SEND setting or with high-needs pupils

A patient, positive, and proactive mindset

Confidence working with non-verbal communication and physical needs
