We’re on the lookout for a brilliant SEN Teaching Assistant to join a post-16 setting in Walthamstow, supporting students with additional needs in a welcoming, well-structured college environment. If you've worked in a primary or secondary school and know your way around SEN support, you're already halfway there.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting young people (aged 16+) with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH

Assisting in lessons, helping students stay on track, and building positive routines

Working either 1:1 or in small groups depending on the day

Being a consistent, calming presence in their learning journey
What we’re looking for:

Experience working in a school SEN setting (college experience not required!)

A flexible, patient approach and a real passion for helping learners progress

Availability for 3 to 5 days per week (we’ll work around your schedule)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
